    Add-on strategy?
Just wondering how people would decide whether or not to add on.

For example, in today's SBR poker 5 PM:

add on costs 110 and gets you 2500 more chips.

So with a low stack I guess it would be an easy yes, but what if you're one of the bigger stacks? Would you add-on?

I'm a little rusty on the topic...but it depends on the blinds, the prize structure, and how much you've already invested more than anything. If you're just buying a few extra blinds, don't worry about it. It's generally more important for the mid sized to short stacks, though if I've already used a rebuy then I usually wouldn't do the add on unless I'm teetering on the bubble and adding on a large amount of chips. Given that prize structure, once you add on or rebuy you have to place 5th in order to win anything. Sometimes you just have to realize it's not your tournament before you pour a ton of money/points into it.

      I added on today.

A little under 8k chips, high stack 15k, next 13k, 26 remaining, top 9 get real prizes.

      22 points for 2k chips.
