Bad beat jack pots usually mean more rake. I think the rake is high enough here.

To many Bad Beats happen in Tourneys
and Ring Games, you got Guys that call
anything because they dont care if they
win or lose and they the ones that get lucky
and the hand when they had no business
even calling

the bad beats people experience are normal, if you don't know the bad beat jackpot is usually when a player loses with 4 of a kind or better. I don't hear that very often around here.

Some card places give a jackpot with a full house with jacks or better getting beat. I can see that more than just 4 of a kind of course but I still don't see that happening all that much even with the people who don't care going all in with low hands.

i think this is the only way to get sbr poker more active , i would make a few tables bad beat jackpot eligible for those who wanna participate, a pt or 2 extra out of each pot goes towards the jackpot , you can build a meter into the lobby to keep track of the jackpot , it will make people wanna play when they see a few thousand pts built up , since sbr poker is less active then normal sites , i would make the bad beat jackpot just a bit easier to hit , instead of quad 8's or higher , just make it quads vs quads , no matter if its 2222 or KKKK , quads vs quads is still pretty hard to hit , also quads vs straight flush /royal , straight flush vs straight flush ( most common) , trust me the bad beat jackpot , would bring a few more tables in daily.
