    Poker in Macau?
Hey I am thinking about hopping over to Macau in a few days. I've done some research and it looks like the rake is a bit different here. The lowest game they have is 10-25 NL (HKD dollars 1-2.50 US dollars) max buyin 3000 HKD. Rake is 5% total pot capped at 100 HKD (4 BB). The next highest game is 25-50 10k max buyin. Rake is 5% capped at 200 HKD. With rake so high, is it even profitable to play? I'm a 15-12 NIT.

I was thinking about buying max at the 10-25 and trying to grind but the rake would really eat up profits. I also heard the tables are full of regulars. What do you think? Has anybody had any successful Macau stories?

I also heard the dealers are very slow and you only get about 20 hands/hr. That's pretty damn slow! Maybe I can catch the tail end of some new years donks?

Thanks in advance for any insight.

Hmm...Well I think I'll hop over there. Any of the major poker rooms will have the Super Bowl on and I need to see that. I'll try and let everybody know how it is.
