A few issues/requests for Poker Rollover
Not going to bitch about it, it is a fact and SBR has a business right to implement it.

That said, if SBR is going to require rollover a few things really need to get fixed.

    1) The bonus points should all be available from different wins. That is not too say the rollover amounts should be combined.

    2) If rollover has been met during a session, they should automatically go into our regular points balance and we should be able to buyin with regular points. Right now, we have to exit out of all of the sessions using bonus points to get the rolled over points released. I have twice dbled through someone, cleared a rollover and had to leave to release the bonus points. I would have bought back in (for the same amount) with the pending bonus points but it would not let me. I am not a fan of hitting and running but I was forced to given the rollover limitations.

    3) It would be nice if we had tracking method for the rollover to know the profit/loss on it. It might be as easy as putting a new entry into our points tracking where it shows the amount going from the bonus points wallet to the regular points wallet.

I think there are more issues, like split pots and full accounting for rollover at small limits but I think these are the bigger issues that need to get resolved to make this rollover process work properly.

    Cheers!

Thanks for the post and suggestions. Let me talk to Scott and have him respond. I was not aware the software worked as you explained in point 2.

I am a huge supporter of combining the rollovers. Fine keeping them seperate as far as amounts rolled and release but if I finish 9th in a tourney winning 75 points, I want to be able to combine it with a 9th another time and use the combination for a regular 200 or whatever buy in.

The problem is VERY terrible, and only recently learned of it myself, as I just recently played with "rollover" points for the first time - WOW. I bought in for the max rollver of 370 at a 400 max table, playing heads up with someone. I got knocked down to 200 pretty quickly, but could not add up to 400 with "regular" points. STUPID. It would be EASY to make it so that the software simply puts your "needed rollover" - so for me 1,110 - into a field somewhere where you can see it, and then the software keeps track of how much more you have to risk until rollever is met. Once it's met, your rollover points are simply released into your account. Much like "bonus dollars" at all the major poker sites. Unreal that that the rollover works in such a stupid way.

                1) BP balances are kept separate during play because we have to keep stats on each balance.

                2) This one is in the works. You shouldn't have to leave the table to roll over or to add points from a different balance. No ETA for this yet.

                3) This one is also in the works. First step is to include the rolled over amount in the message that is shown on rollover. Then later on we need to add another column in the Cashier table to show the amount rolled over.
