Only posters that have never played a hand of SBR Poker may participate. The perfect opportunity for a poker beginner to learn the ropes of SBR's platform! Send Lou a PM if you qualify and wish to be given the event's password.

You must have joined the SBR posting forum prior to April 14th at 9:40AM to be eligible.

• When: Sunday, April 17th at 3PM EDT

• Where: SBR Poker Room. Download SBR Poker here.

• Free Points: All members will receive a prize. The tournament is limited to 40 slots.

A tournament host will be available to field all questions the day of the event. We'll make sure you all safely return home after the event's conclusion.

Unfortunately, SBR Poker doesn't run in native OSX. However, the following options are available to you:

• Boot Camp: Install a copy of Windows on your Mac.
• Wine: Wine is a free, open source application that works by converting the application extension.
• Crossover: This is a relatively cheap program that one SBR Poster has reported works. It works similar to Wine.
• Parallels: A virtual emulator can be used to run Windows. This is probably the worst of the options since it is more resource intensive and slower than the others. The other options on this list would run the application at Windows speed.

as far as ghost aint there ip checks?..can location of ips be checked?..If you have ten guys posting from a small area odds are all belong to a Patty Vendetto type character

I'm not worried about ghosts so much as I want to keep the sharks out. Its fun to play when everyone is about the same level. This is a beginners game.
