Just wondering, do we get trophies if we win one of the tournaments during the week this month?

I won one on the 8th and haven't had a badge added yet, so just wondering!

No offense guys, but is there a way to block them so they don't fill up so much space on my screen? Or do I have to bask in everyone's greatness and my loserness for eternity?

lol, if you go to Settings -> Edit Options, you can uncheck the "Show Signatures" box.

I never thought I'd get one either though, and then ended up hitting it big a few nights ago. Just keep trying

I guess our trophy badges needs to be added manually by the admin, where are u at, Lou? I placed 6th in a tourney on 12/2/2011 and I don't see my badge as of yet plus I thought I placed earlier in a another tournament...can u check and add to my account? Thanks.

Hi PokerQ - While you're correct in that badges are added manually, they also have a ranged expiry date depending on which tournament it is and where you placed. 1st place is always 30 days for the Mon-Fri tourneys and it's graduated down to 8-9th place which last for 5 days. The only time you'll see a poker badge last longer than a month is if it's for first place in a larger tournament or a special.

If you won a tournament at the start of December, your badge won't show up now. Besides the fact it would've already expired, they usually appear a day or two after the tournament finishes.

Again: Your poker badge will NOT appear. You placed 6th on December 2. Even if you had received it the second you cashed on December 2nd, it would've disappeared by December 9th because it expired. They don't last forever and the lower you cash, the shorter they last as I explained above. And no, you don't have to notify Admin when you cash. They receive the results and apply the badges without anything needing to be done on the poster's part.

And from your points history, it appears you logged in to the forum once between December 2nd and 9th so I'd safely assume you did receive your badge but because you weren't around to see it, you didn't know it was there.

So basically we need to log in to the forum to make sure our badge will show up before it expires. (I guess the badge gets added to our profile section then we just have to acknowledge and set it in our signature). Thanks for the clarification.

No, you don't have to log in to receive your badge or adjust anything in your settings. You don't have to do anything. The point is you weren't around the forum when you would've had your badge so you didn't know that you had one. And because they don't last forever, it's gone.
