Grinding Out a Few Coins on Bodog
Bodog isn't what it was...but then again the whole online poker scene is about 10% of what it was in 2005-06 imo! They're anywhere & everywhere as a Sportsbook so some new fish are always finding the poker room! I bluffed on the river w/king high at 8/16 limit the other night...fish calls and loses? A guy called about $600 preflop in PLO w/997J with 1 flush draw (won of course). There is still money to be made! I won a small tournament the other night for the 1st time in ages...117 people! Who has 15 hours straight to play a Stars tournament with 5,000 euro donks anyway

Is this correct you have almost 3000 posts and you aren't familiar with SBR points? Anyway if this is a legit question click on the "Become a Pro" linke beneath your name on a post you've made. Congrats on hitting a royal flush bonus.

I'm a low stakes player and I enjoy Bodog for sure, a site where I can consistently grow my bankroll in poker.

Bodog was never a good site. They built their poker room like their sportsbook, for the fish.

Bodog is full of grandfathered rakeback regulars/bots. You will find the occasional sports betting punter but they get bumhunted to extinction. Barring having a grandfathered rakeback account I don't see any incentive to play there, but maybe they have some site specific tourneys with overlay. I don't play tournaments so who knows?

                      hi there
you commented that bodog has a number of players/bots. i had that impresion in the past, but latly it seems that there are all bots, specially after 1 30 am, when the rooms all of the suden start playing all kind of strange hands and crazy action.
i got into that vortex a few times, and because i m not to familiar with on line poker, i could not make sence at all. i did some DD and discover that 25% of on line play is done by bots, to my surprize, so i opted to withraw all my founds from there, and left a feewe dollars only to play tournaments, but, i do not know if the bots are involved there as well.
could you please direct me to some sites where bots are banned\

                      thanks

You most likely played a bot but didn't realize it. What you're referring to is just playing bad players. Play at Pokerstars or Full Tilt Poker if you are paranoid. They have the best detection out there. Stay away from Ipoker network at all costs.
