    6 player max format discussion
Me personally i would prefer the old style with 9 per table instead of 6 max per table. Anyone else agree ? Why the change ?

Thought it was worth a try.

    I think it played better.

Let's see if anyone else has any thoughts.

I personally like when it's 6-handed, but 6-max might not be ideal for a small tournament like this due to all the times you end up having one or more tables that are 3 or 4 handed. Especially when it's down to 2 tables, it can feel kind of punishing if you happen to be stuck playing against the 2 biggest stacks or whatever.

Not a huge deal either way but since this is being put up to a vote, I prefer 9 handed as well.

          I'm cool with either one.

I set it as 9 seat tables for today's tourney.

Software options are 2, 6 or 9 seat.

Heads up tourney might be fun now and then?

Props, Opti. I haven't been too active on these. My two cents:
              1) From playing out in Vegas, there's a HUGE difference btw 6-max and 9-man. I hate 9-man. It's all about waiting for a big hand. 6-max is much more tactical.

              2) Heads-up is a great option, too. Heads-up is a very different animal. Think back to the days of Doug Polk being a heads-up specialist.
Where's the fuckin power box, Carol?

I prefer 6 handed too, but it is a good point about being stuck with less than 6 on both tables from 12 left down to 6 left. Not that it bothers me really.

See if anyone else chimes in.

I'm up to try a heads up tourney if there is some interest too.
