Props to MPaschal, B1Slick, and Unlearn for their efforts in the last 3 tourneys. Their Central team had folded their tents for the past 3 days but these guys showed a lot of heart even though it didn't matter for their team.

Yeah great series, even if the very end was a tad disappointing for us! But no question SBR really came up with a fantastic format for the finals of these World Cups, never see people get even one-tenth as energized about poker around here as the week of the Finals!

Guess we'll see what they do about those bets, not really sure, not exactly a standard for this haha - first year I think it's been a tie for first after all!

Yes, 5000 regular points and 2500 poker points seems logical based on splitting 1st/2nd prizes equally.

Dead Heat rules should be used here. I'm not sure how it works exactly but I believe my +325 will be paid out at +162.5

Team won and shared with another runner, half the profit paid.

Ok, now those two wagers show as losing, but they paid out the one which "tied" manually (directly sent points instead of in the sportsbook) in a dead heat style format as I said. Seems fair - thanks SBR!

I'm sorry you still relive this experience every year around Xmas, Maybe after a few more trips around the sun you will finally be able to forget about the time you were a 60% fav in a poker hand didn't win.

Jedi probably should be MVP, coming through in the very last tourney to tie the overall match for his team. And scoring 3 wins with his only non-cash coming due to getting ridiculously coolered twice (one of which, was courtesy of me).

Ok everyone who might not have cashed somewhere might be able to point to something unlucky, but his poor luck in that felt especially pronounced. And to come back after that and win three days in a row, especially when it mattered most - quite impressive!
