Weekend Poker Tournament (25 point buy in)
Interesting pay structure for the 25 points buy in.

    1st: 40% of points
    2nd: 75 points
    3rd: 50 points
    4th: 25 points
    5th: 15 points
    6th: 5 points

so if you are not in the top 3 you don't make any points for the tournament. only the winner makes anything of value. i think i'll pass.

it's not that the buy in is high....it's the payout structure.

a typical weekend tournament usually has about 25 people in it. so a 25 point buy in makes an entry fee pool of 625. the above structure only pays out 420 of those points. 205 (33%) of the fees don't get paid out.

A Pizza Poker Tournament is scheduled for 7pm today.
There was an error in the 1st Place prize listed earlier. So I have canceled that tournament and refunded the points to the 2 entries.
The tournament has been corrected and has been rescheduled for today.
I apologize for the error. Remember this is my Very 1st attempt to do this.
            1st place prize is for a $25 Pizza e-card
2nd pace prize is 75 Poker Points
3rd Place is 50 Poker Points
4th Place is 25 Poker Points
            5th Place is15 Poker Points
6th Place is 5 Poker Points

the problem is that you can only win poker points after buying in with real points and then have to roll over those poker points you win LOL. Makes 0 sense

With current participation numbers, this will likely be a very cool SNG style tourney where a 25 point buy-in gets the winning SNG player an item valued at $25. Best of luck!

How would someone ever be able to roll over 5 poker points?

                      I don't think it's possible.

no incentive to play for now for points that have no value.

I’ll put up 25 pts for a chance to win a pizza card all day.

That’s exactly it. $25 pizza for 25 points can’t go wrong with that!

Solid point...Since you're a Canadian non pro who can't get 5Dimes cash orders processed in SBR store, might as well ship me 2 pts/day.
