2018 WSOP Las Vegas Excursion - Event # 48

I thought I’d start a thread to track this years poker trip to see who else may be out there and keep status of the event as it happens. I believe RM18 will be playing this tourney as well (and possibly a few more guys). I’m taking off Saturday to play on Day 1B. So if you will be out there, check in and we can grab a beer or something.


Wish Opti could be here so it would be an official “Mixer”, but we’ll have to wait until August for that.

I am going out for WSOP TOURNAMENT #58 and #59. I might not be able to play 59 depending on how late i play in 58 though. I am also playing in some tournaments at the Venetian

Jake....you can put away the towels. I’ve decided to cancel my trip this year as I couldn’t find any takers to come out with me. Even the wife turned me down as she has auditors in for her work next week. Not a big fan of Vegas alone as last time I lost way too much when I did that.

Sucks to cancel, but I do have a lot of work issues going on with suppliers right now. I can focus on getting that corrected and then getting ready for the Bash. Will be looking forward to it.

seems to me if planning on playing a WSOP event, it might be better to fly solo and have tunnel vision focus on the task at hand and no worries about other's wants/needs. It might be a blessing is disguise?

Yeah, shame to miss WSOP but best to keep your powder dry and not go alone. I've been tossing up coming this week and join you, hoping I win enough to come back again in August. My whole 12 month goal was to be there for this WSOP.

Flew in yesterday, to bad you had to cancel Mpas. My first solo trip this year, I'm enjoying myself quite a bit. I'm sure I'll meet up with a few people who are in town at some point.
