SHOUT-OUT TO THE POKER REGS (Post #10k)

For post #10,000, decided to go this direction. 1^st reaction is that I have to question how I’m managing my time if I accumulate 10,000 posts on a given message board. Have to look in the mirror, on that one.

Now that I’m here, though, I wanted to give a shout-out to the Poker Regs. I’m mostly talking about the Cash-game tables. Has been fun to play the tournaments, too, of course.

If you go back about five years, I had played very little poker previously. I’m sure the veteran players saw the holes in my game and took me to school. Like anything, poker is a game that you can work at and improve. I took a beating for a while. Poker is a thinking man’s game, and I’d like to think that was my education.

Shout-out to the poker regs that were seemingly at the table every nite. At risk of forgetting any big names, I’m going to list the guys that seemed to be there most often. Thanks for the competition, and Good Luck going forward:

Sweeper, I'm mostly a tournament player. There are some parallels to short-stack cash games.

Poker is an interesting game to me, in the sense that there are a lot of different spots to consider. AND it's still viewed as an UN-SOLVED game. Get your $$ in good + hope the gods of gambling shine brightly on you.

CG, congrats. Salude ! I have not participated in chats or postings lately, a lot of other things going on while I play. No reflection on you or others including SBR. For sure, Yisman. Two very good players:

* BiteMe taught me a thing or two for sure. He was bluffy, which was a learning experience to me. Discovered that bluff-catchers have value vs that type of player.

* I liked Tattdy, too. I think he's moved on to bigger + better things.

I'm gonna start another thread for Vegas tournaments. As of now, I plan to only play the 6max tournament I reference previously. But I may pick up one or two others.

i do miss playing live & online. More so the Comaraderie. 2011-204 were fun times here. Life evolves, I’m sure I’ll play it again... one day
