Very nice! Played sporadically over the summer, nothing serious and most sessions I had a drink in my hand lol. Plan is to button up my game during fall/winter.

This Live tourny sounds pretty cool, Resorts does not even have a poker room so im assuming the event will be in a ballroom or banquet hall. They are running satellites for the $100,000 guarantee event but the buy-in is only $200+20 so why bother with a $20 sat...

Day 1a is on Fri 10/6

Day 1b on sat 10/7

Pools combine on Sun

Wow. Looks like a total dud here at Resorts. Set up is top drawer, just what you'd expect for $100k gaurantee event. ...problem is theres like 20 people here for flight A lol.

Gonna jump in a cash game at trop and check back for the next flight at 5pm.

No way they hold that guarantee if this is any indication of the potential field. If they do i will be jumping in for what is sure to be a MASSIVE overlay

isn't it guaranteed? so even if there's only 200 people x 220 (44k) they would just eat the difference right?

Says in fine print tournament director can change terms at any point. Going to check back at 330 when late registration closes for flight A

Im at tun taver now having a few drinks..highly disappointed in today. Was looking forward to this event.

I was talking to the tourny director and apparently borgata is having a $150 buy-in/$150k gtd event today as well. Lowerbuy-in/higher gtd....borgata rooster blocked the stars event

yeah disappointing to say the least Jake. Borgata doing big things....they just had the WPT Borgata open on Sept. 30th. I would play Borgata online but their software blows compared to Stars and the longest Ive had to wait for a payout from PS was about 6 hours. Not bad imo

Pokerstars needs to start offering a higher guarantee than the Borgata to get their live events off and running

405 entries @ $200 buy-in is $81,000 which would leave a $19,000 overlay.....1st place didnt even pay 20% of prize pool? Dosnt sound right....someone correct me if im wrong

Thats an 18k layover....1st paid 19k or about 23%. Sounds weak for 1st. I could be wrong
