Hey guys I'm going to do a challenge for the weekend. If I can't play at least 26 hours Fri-Sun then I'll give away 300 points!!! At the moment I owe about 400 more on a loan, so after that's paid I'll give out the points. Anyway all you have to do is type something in this chat after I make this post up until Sunday midnight PST time!!! Also post the amount of hours you think I'll play this weekend and whoever is closest I'll send 50 to the winner. Whole number and first to post in case of a tie wins!

            26 hours.

Think you'll push for the line and only just make it.

I just checked out the thread. GL and have fun. I've found the best way to improve my game is to respond to hand posts on strategy forums, so if you ever get stuck you may want to give that a try.

Why the hours challenge for the weekend? You will be forcing yourself to play suboptimal which is what you should be avoiding. If you want to focus on playing more start increasing the weekly hours like an hour a day etc. Chances are you will be playing better in that hour each day then when you reach the nth hour this weekend. Just something to think about for next time i guess.

What is up my homies! Today is a very exciting day, I am giving away a lot of points! Before I pick winners, let’s recap the weekend. So I basically have just begun shot taking 50NL. I’ve never played this stake before so there should be a learning curve. Anyway I’ve played about 32 hours of 50NL during my shot take so far and I am down just over 2 buyins. After going through my hands I’ve throw away just over 2 buyins from mistakes I’ve made. I’ve also been coolered much more than I’ve coolered back. After looking at positional stats it seems I’m losing way too much from the SB which is probably due to calling too many bets OOP. Besides all of this there have been so many scenarios in which I have had an amazing hand on the flop only to see insanely terrible runouts. Anyway, it’s all variance and I’m still learning.

Most important part is being honest with yourself and study. Seems like you are on the right path to success! Keep it up.
