LOL... good pickup, didnt notice that.

NFI what the story is. Only odd finishers get paid. That might make for a fun final table with people trying to lose at the right time.

Then it's false advertising by 5Dimes, as they claim $550 in prizes & pay out $320?

In other words, this isn't a promo for serious high stakes players. But it's a generous gesture by the site, and a fun lil tourney to blow off steam in.

For comparison, America's Cardroom runs freerolls with measly $10 prize pools that get 500-1k runners!!

I sometimes wonder why 5Dimes even bothers with a poker room. I never see more than half a dozen cash tables going there.

I must have lucked onto stronger tables than you. It felt like a bit of a tougher grind than I expected.

Knocked out 75th after flopping 2 pair and calling an allin from someone who flopped a set.

Agree it was better than regular freerolls. Cant be bothered playing for a split of $10 or even $100 even if it's free.

For the same reason most sites offer the poker room. To make their customers happy. Better to have it all then make it so your customers need to have funds elsewhere too.
