Usually they roll out the new promotion 1-2 weeks after this ends and it's usually WSOP qualifier.

Yes, a few years back and it was a complete mess. Some people advanced rounds having more starting chips than their competitors.

You just had to be there to understand how fun this was. No way you wouldn't have enjoyed it. I can't speak for the other years but this years had to be one of the best as far as drama goes.

People were also unhappy with the Cup promotion last year. Personally I think it's the best promotion. Creates team play and the poker forum is full of life.

Problem with the world cup is that there's no nationality. WTF are the confederates? There use to be a Europe team, but the Euros, Canadians, & World team could barely field a full roster at times. On the other hand, top 50 in the US was good enough to place on the other teams. Kind of a catch 22 with the amount of players we have here.

It was always my least favorite contest...but thats just my opinion

I'd much rather see top 48 players in a draft with 4 captains, I barely had time to play these last few months anyways so I was fine missing it.

I like the team concept, but I wish they ditched the location based teams. Top 48 and the top 4 are captains and draft a team, like downsouth suggested multiple times.

But this is the 2nd year in a row I would have been comfortably on either Team World of Team Canada but missed the US because of the sheer volume of players compared to the other 2.

Wasn't nearly as bad this year, but Team Canada's qualifiers were a joke last year. I know the 12th person didn't even reach 1000 points, and not so sure he even reached 500 (want to say he was in the 300's).

How does that work? When I started playing poker again on here it was the end of the WSOP qualifer, followed by world cup, then world championship, then world cup again.

Let's have a razz tournament. First one eliminated gets the most points. Aces would be the best hand you could get. Wouldn't even have to reprogram the software
