SBR's geo-locate security features and the use of VPNs

Hello,

I am investigating using VPN services on my home network to ensure the overall security/privacy of my families internet usage.

As I understand it (maybe I am wrong) SBR uses some geo-locating features to report/enforce various restrictions.

If I enable VPN usage where my actual geo-location is masked, will SBR have a problem with this?

I have no plans to move from Canada so if SBR wants to permanently designate my location in Canada, that would be awesome!
