I recently purchased an Asus T100 - Transformer tablet/laptop. It runs full Windows 8.1 so there are no compatibility issues.
My personal experience playing a small amount of Pokerstars and SBR is that it is fine. Getting used to Windows 8 with touch is my biggest hurdle.
For the the Asus T100 specifically, the keyboard is nice, the touchpad on the keyboard kinda sucks but is functional. I have noticed intermittant wireless interuptions that seem to affect very time/network sensitive applications (like SBR poker and to a lesser extent Pokerstars). I currently looking into the wireless problem but I have not found a full resolution yet. I think it has something to do with power savings/consumption putting the wireless port into a low power state that interrupts the connection very briefly.
Youtube/Netflix streaming and other apps work flawlessly.
Overall this tablet/laptop is a steal at $370 (CDN $) which includes a full MS Word/Excel version of Office.
