I was under the impression you can both re-buy and add on at the first break? I had 2800 chips at break, wanted some reinforcement chips, and the only option it gave me was add on. So you can't buy 4000 chips at the break? Just 2000?

correct... you can also only rebuy chips once you busy out you cant addon 2k when ever your below the original 2k stack either like you can at most poker tourneys...Comment -

Also it is important to note that SBR has another stranger rule, the rebuys and addons are not allowed once we have reached the cash (so in this case, once there are 20 people left).
While I state it is a strange rule, I dont think I have ever seen a rebuy tourney that did not go past the rebuy/addon period before the cash line, so I really dont have much to compare to, it just seems pretty counter intuitive to a rebuy tourney structure.Comment
