it was a creative idea no doubt but its time to get rid of these tables. i dont even look at table names when i go to the ring tables. i just click on wherever there are people playing and more often then not , suddenly message pops up saying your player rating is 2100 which is too high to join this table. and all the other tables are empty.

meanwhile there are solid players playing in there such as yisman, garyDN and some other fellows that i cant remember. and what difference does it make whether they lose their points to so called weaker players or to so called better players ( i dont believe in the player ratings system anyway).

ive also had people play me, immediately leave the table and go to the sanctuary. i mean what the hell is that !?!? its like tom and jerry where jerry runs into the mouse hole and tom hits his head against the wall chasing him in there.

    DISPENSE WITH THE SANCTUARY !

Stuff like this is why SBR is flawed. It'd be one thing if the player ratings made sense, but they don't.

LOL, I kinda think the way it is, is opposite. If I lose, maybe my score will go up!

We've had many threads about this before, I think I even started one about a million years ago. They don't get enough attention/responses from users. I think this is because the problem is so temprorary: They see people at the sanctuary where they can't play, so they just check back later when there are people they *can* play. These folks need to make some noise about it so SBR will fix it. It's totally uncontroversial that the ratings system is stupid. I've had my rating everywhere from the very bottom to the very top since I've been playing here.

Another thing: There are certainly plenty of players who aren't aware of it or don't understand how it works, so they may not even know that "sanctuary" is a synonym for "bullshit" around here.

Not only that, but is it not a highly unusual if not unprecedented practice to have such a system dictate which players may sit where? Being in the US, I've not played online poker in a while, but I played at four different sites before (UB, Fulltilt, PlayersOnly, and Bodog) and not a single one had any kind of system like that. Is there another site anywhere that thinks this is a good idea? And how about in LIVE card rooms? Just joking.
