Huh?
Are you asking how we play in live games as opposed to online? Your post is rather ambiguous... I'm confused.

I'm not rolled for live play, and have only been playing online for about a year. My goal is to build up enough of a bankroll playing online to properly roll myself for live play, and with any luck by that time my skill level will be such that I can hold my own at the low limit live tables.
That being said, I have read many places comparisons between 100NL or 200NL live and 25NL games online, in terms of player skill. Not sure if you guys can comment on this or not.
Seems the skillset needed would be entirely different.

if you are saying play is better live, i dont agree, but keeping track of the pot, player tells, etc are part of the game live and not online.

i think what op is suggesting is that you can play smaller tournaments online and more of them as opposed to investing a lot of time for nothing live just to get it in good and lose, thats life i guess.

Lol people live are worse than the micro mtts online. But live variance as you may or may not be aware is way bigger than online. Its takes a couple years to go through a cycle, while online a couple of months if you playing alot. So if your occasionally playing live that cycle could be longer, meaninh that you could be a terrible or -ev player and win over the course of a year due to variance. But in 3-4 years of playing you will lose it all.
So do like 10k mtts online before you try going pro live

What does that have to do with anything? You might be older than me, but you probably don't even have 5% of the knowledge in poker and general gambling that I have.
It must suck to suck =/ Unfortunately I don't know how it feels, but il take your word for it

no just saying if you run bad online it's a joke, you can bust 10 straight tourneys in a row with the best hand. I dont know how people can deal with the variance in live poker. If you play a hand badly online you can open 2 new windows and get your money back, live you just wait and wait

well heres my two cents about live and online
live - i play $100 max tables $1/2 blinds (not real serious but not the cheapest), usually at those tables most of the ppl arent two serious about playing, u can very easily read ppl very rarely do they try to trick u with their emotions.....if your bluffing and there not sure if they should call, they often show that there not sure (just because there not serious when it comes to the game) ull always have people like this at your table and have 1 or 2 more "serious" players. Also, u can tell when a guy is a donk sometimes by talking to him, whereas online u cant tell until the hands r shown
online - theres a much higher selection of games and u dont have to wait as much, u play much more hands but i find there r much more bad beats online
i find it muchhhhh easier to win live than it is online but thats just me
