This should be a damn good game but I hope KSU makes a big run in the tourney. Got em goin to the Final 4.
Utah was 30-3 but their division is god awful.

Depends on which Kansas St team shows up...Utah St is no slouch, and the reason the line is so low. Heard some local K-State fans thinking this is a gimme. Also remember the bracket percentages:
Give special consideration to picking #12 seeds: #12 seeds have won at least one game 20 of 22 years.
Utah State in my bracket but K-state with my money. Brackets need some upsets

I have K State winning two, but if they were in any other region, I would have them win one and done

if you had faded mormon (including southern utah state out of the Great West Conference) teams the the past decades you'd be able to call in rich

I have K-State. I filled out too many brackets to remember how far I have them going, but I only have them losing in the first round on 1......and only just because I didn't have any other upsets.

Looking like another 15+ point first round beatdown for the Aggies, just like last year. Stew Morill has lost 11 straight postseason games. That man has to swallow his pride and play some tougher opponents and stop worrying about major conference teams coming to his precious Spectrum.

I hope you guys who are betting on KSU have watched the Aggies play and not just taking the Cats because they've sort of been hot. I've watched a few Utah St. games, and don't take them lightly. There are a really good team and I believe they are seeded too low. Better get familiar with Tai Wesley, this guy is a beast.
They are rated in the top 25 and the line is low for a reason. I don't need the points, I'm on Utah St. ML.

one of the tougher 1st round games to pick, whoever wins has a pretty good chance of doing a little damage...not sure how these a**holes gave utah st a 12 seed when they a top 20 team...

Utah St has choked the past few tournaments. They are one of the only teams the past 2 years (2009 and 2010) who have had 25 or more wins and then lost to a team with fewer than 25 wins in the 1st round. Oakland (to Pitt) and Wofford (to Wisconsin) last year were the only other teams to accomplish the feat.
If you follow this strategy the teams to take in the 1st round this year who have 25 or more wins and are playing a team with less than 25 wins you have:
George Mason, Syracuse, Duke, SDSU, Temple, Cinci, Kansas, Richmond, Louisville, Notre Dame, Purdue, Pitt, ODU, Utah St, Belmont, Florida, and BYU.
This strategy has nothing to do with the spread and I only have checked it for the 2009 and 2010 tourneys. I would probably not use this strategy, but it was interesting to look at.
Big 12 fan and I hate KSU's coach. He was amusing a couple years ago. Now it's just old.
Go Utah State!

Don't sleep on Utah St, them boys can ball and KState is not near the team they were last year. This will be a great game.

Utah State is one of the best bets of the first round, their Pomeroy Rating is through the roof for a 12 seed.

USU is the bet in theory, but they don't have the best NCAA track record as a program and they're rather ordinary in non-home games.

no doubt they were screwed getting a 12 seed, however while k-st played themselves into a 5 seed they were a top 5 team coming into the season and have more than enough talent to handle utah st and their numbers accrued by playing bad competition all season...is this the year these utah st kids finally get out of the 1st round? maybe, just dont see this being a great bet either way....

Well Utah St's best player, Tai Wesley, was out for about half the game with foul trouble or else they probably woulda beat KSU. Pretty lousy shooting performance by KSU but they still won by 5...which makes me happy
