New w/d policy w/ Greek needing photo id
It looks like sometime after mid May The Greek has instituted a new w/d policy requiring a photo Id. So I sent it to them 5 minutes later and had my money in neteller in about 1 hour or so.

How come the same photo id process takes Mansion 3 business days?

I've had no requests for photo ID from Olympic. In fact, had a withdrawal this morning, very fast as usual, no docs required.

When I sent Mansion my photo ID, I got my payout request processed within a couple hours, IIRC. Maybe you just had bad luck.

I think its pot luck. many have posted waiting three days. Mine went 'missing' in the post and had to resend it. i really went toe-to-toe about it and to be honest I kind of appreciated their honesty.

They were quite upfront, no "unfortunately govt regulations"etc just we need to protect ourselves.

When i resent it I got an email saying they had prioritised it and put a 'little something' in my account for the inconvenience.

With hindsight, i think i objected so much they must have thought I was a fraudster or something and then when i wasnt they did, what i think, was the decent thing.

So, mansion will id you. Its up front. i think if you email it it is always quicker but they are probably worth it.

Unlike, centrebet ... my experiences with these comedians will have a post of its own soon.

Well I guess I answered my own question. I had forgot it was 3 business days and thought it was 2 so I sent them an email. I got a response back a couple hours later that my account is now OK to process a withdrawal.

Technically they have it worded 3 business days in their terms and conditions.

Interesting comment on The Greek by yokspot that he didn't have to send in ID. I just assumed it was new and didn't think anything of it since I had just done the same thing w/ Mansion.

Only a few books ID you if you use neteller etc. the ones who do are usually the ones you wouldnt want to do business with.

Emailing the ID is no biggy, as long as they process this info in a timely manner and are up front about the requirement. It's a real pain when you try to process a withdrawal, then suddenly they spring this ID requirement on you.

A poster at TOW last week had the same issue with Bet Jamaica. Apparently that country has some type of new law, so all the books in that group will be requiring the photo ID, even to withdraw to Neteller. I think this will take many people by surprise. I think those books should have e-mailed all customers with this change, if they didn't already do it.
