What Is The Gambler's Average Life Expectancy?
    Have there been studies?

My guess is 51-63 is about average. Poor eating habits, little sleep, lots of stress, etc.

I think gamblers are the most strongest people mentally. As many bad beats we take, yet it doesn't break our will. Normal people would go crazy and prolly jump off a building if they went thru half of what we go thru. Imagine Being up 1 run and Valverde comes in for the save, hits 1st batter, bloop single next, then a wild pitch, then a intentional walk to load the bases all with no outs, and u got a couple grand on the game. Then he strikes out the next batter and then turns the double play. U just went to hell and back to celebrating all within 5 mins

Depends on the sport and the method behind the wagers, Cougs. We should solicit some advice and come up with a table for it, actually. It'd help people more accurately balance potential winnings with expected loss of quality/duration of life.

I nominate boxing for the most taxing sport on one's health, followed closely by tennis, and baseball to round out the triactor.

Gamblers live longer, when you get really old you can still have the thrill of hitting big bets, when everything else deteriorates, you can still have the same thrill you had in your youth from gambling.

I think it depends if you factor in suicides.

If you do, the average age is probably 23. Yeah, that sounds right.

I can put my head on the pillow when the day comes and have very few regrets.

Know to many who carried the paper bag lunch, scrimped every dime and croaked early. Not me baby! I'm already ahead of the game. Trick is to get this far.

Got problems but not that one. Father was 85 and dying in a nursing home and still whispered in my ear about the nurses bending over and splaying a little cleavage and how excited he was. All in the genes dude.

We can all relate to the fact that there are no 90 year old heroin addicts, most hard core addicts die in their 40's or 50's. Depending upon the drug, the latest studies show that life expectancy is 15-20 years from the moment of addiction, not to mention the physical and mental deterioration along the way. Cocaine addicts often die within 5 years from the time they begin heavy usage...in Russia the average life expectancy of a drug addict is 4.4 years. Some addictions, such as Sex or Gambling, don't cause death from engaging in the behavior, they destroy lives in other ways
                                                            I feel safe now.

JJ swears he's going to strangle your ass with his bare hands if he ever lays his glims on you in person. I don't think you got the hair on your peaches to see if he's bluffing.
