Possible poker disconnect solution

After going back and forth with SBR And not getting nowhere
I was getting dissconnected every couple minutes.
Un/re installed Poker software multiple times--- no help
Turned off all security programs and firewalls--- no help
Reformatted hard drive--- no help

THEN---
Upgraged my internet exployer to latest version
And have not been disconnected in last two sessions(days)playing!

I sat with a pokerstars table open and SBR tourny running never disconnected from Pokerstars Just SBR poker.
So I dont know not into IT just needed solution and it worked
So if ant IT'ers out there is this possible?
