Pointbet cancels promotion, says because of customer sugestions
    Dear Value Customer,

We apologise about the previous information we gave to you, that we will open World Cup 2006 odds with 4% Margin.

A lot of members suggested us that we better open the best market as usuall but they still got Cash commision from Net Lost and WIN and also got the cash rebate.

From this connsideration, we canceled the promotion 4% odds, but do not worried, our price is still the best on the Market you can have.

We are sorry for this inconvenience and GOOD LUCK FOR YOUR WORLD CUP 2006.

    Kind regards,
    Pointbet International Ltd.
I have always been and advocate for Pointbet, but what they did now I no like.

I've looked at Pointbet and it is very tempting to post up there with the nice lines they offer, but when I see a message like that with so many mistakes it sure makes it easier to stay away.

To make things more difficult for you I'd like to say that they're absolutely awesome on payouts, cs (except grammar ofcourse as you noted), lines and limits while their software is OK. I'd give them A, and move their current D+ to Bet365. They really show care when you talk to them and as far as I have heard - they're the biggest players on the Asian market.
And you know what - I have never heard any actual complaint about them, for example chech out SBR's player reviews.

I'm not directly involved in SBR ratings but I don't see any way Pointbet could be anywhere near an "A" with the uncertainty relating to their location. At one point they were lying to players that they were in the Virgin Islands because the truth was they were operating illegally in Indonesia.

It's all too shady and uncertain. I would be afraid I would wake up one morning and the operation would be shut down by the government.

I too have heard quite a few good things from players but, because of these big picture considerations, Pointbet is definitely not "A" material.

they claim that they are registered somewhere in England which is also true. However, it seems that they operate everything from Indonesia somewhere which makes them a risky bookie. However, I personally never had even the slightest problem with them and I am ready to risk my money even further with them as I think I already earned more money with their great odds than I will lose if they get closed by Indonesian governemnt. Still, I am afraid to keep more than 5000 US$ there but with one free moneybookers withdrawal every week that is not big of a problem anyway. For me they would be a clear A+ if they would move their operations completely to GB.

Yes, ofcourse, its their location that gives them their D+ rating. They have already had police raids and were down for a week or so, about year and a half ago.
When I said A rated, I meant everything except their location. Their location is F-, other quality forming factors are B+ to A+
            Just my personal opinion
Oh, almost forgot - their grammar is D- too. But at least they tell you good things using that grammar. I prefer good things in terrible grammar to terrible things in good grammar
