MLS Tip for today... 10/9
Red Bulls vs Real Salt Lake Over 2 1/2. -119 at 5dimes.
Both teams have overed a lot lately - RBNY in their past 4 games, and RSL in their last 2 (but 4 of their last 5). Characteristically RBNY plays conservatively away and this makes for unders, and RSL usually win at home 1, 2 to 0 but there is a big factor today.
Primetime match, first game in RSL's new stadium. It's going to be a great atmosphere and neither team will want to disappoint so I see a 2-2, 3-1, 3-2 game emerging.
And RBNY have a horrible defense lately. Watching them can be frustrating! So I think the over is safe here.
It's basically a "trend" vs "recent developments" but I see weak defense shining through here.
