Is there a sportsbook that takes plays on action points??

This is my second year betting on sports so excuse me if this seems like an amateur's question, but do any books let you wager on action points? I seem to lose the close games (.5 to 1 point) so much more than winning them. I bet several games a day and variance doesn't seem to be evening out. I did a little research on my picks the last couple months, and it seems (overall) my winning wagers are easy wins and many of my losers are by the hook or a point or two.
