    like 7 guys hurt in first half because field is like a parking lot...

    Great stadium, terrible field.

    Correct me if I am wrong but the bed is compacted rubber. It just doesn't give under pressure.
    I guess there just isn't enough direct sunlight for a grass field.

    You can grow grass indoors. It's been done before. They grew it indoors at the silverdome for the world cup. Field turf is just so much cheaper

    Field turf is cheaper to maintain, looks better, and you don't get the injuries like astro turf.
