How would Herschel Walker fare against the Best of UFC?

The man is an outright freak of nature. Pushups, situps,no body fat (hardly),bobsledding,4 hours of sleep per night, multiple personalities. I've seen this guy on the Celebrity Apprentice. He's special. Seems like a good guy. I wonder how he'd fare against a Randy Couture, etc? Dana White should get this going. I think Walker would kick Brock Lesnar's ass

Walker vs. Couture or GSP would be interesting to watch. I think it would get ugly for Walker though. No way the fight goes all 3 rounds..

take 20 years off of Herschel's age given his work ethic he could have been a good fighter in UFC.

How would Herschel Walker do against a guy who has fought a couple of times in the past decade?

He wouldn't fare at all, because they'd give him a legit fight (and they arguably have the weaker Heavyweight roster of the two, so... yeah).

Strikeforce is intentionally feeding him bums with ulterior motives to benefit their brand, not build him up as a contender. I wouldn't be surprised if they secure another CBS show and he gets another journeyman.

Just think if they had got Tim Sylvia (in his current shape) to take on Walker last night, the hype for Herschel would have been through the roof!

Not a bad fight to schedule by the way, kind of puts Herschel in a no lose situation, where you can easily explain a loss here, and with Sylvia's form a win is not out of the question. People would eat that up. Former UFC champion, blah blah blah

usually fighters need to get started well before 28 to become elite. Randy Couture is the only exception I know of.

Yea a good fight for hershel. Remember a year or so ago, 90 year old boxer Ray Mercer ko'd Silvia with 1 punch in a smaller mma show. Anybody see that?

He's way too old. Strikeforce will sacrifice him to somebody younger that they can make money with in the future.

did i read correctly that the guy walker fought last night had only 1 fight the last 10 years?

if walker were to fight you could possibly see another Johnny Morton incident.

walker could have been good if he started 15-20 years ago...

Yeah. They wanted a boxing match but they couldn't get that past the state commission so they arranged a "mma" fight.

I know Herschel doesn't have Ray's technique or power, but TUF reject Abe put him away.

Have you seen Herschel fight off his back? Cause that's where he'd spend most of the short fight against Randy. Well, maybe not cause once down it wouldn't take Randy long to finish him.

Brock Lesnar is so much better then this guy that he could literally do wrestling moves against him in an mma match. He could powerbomb him, piledrive him, stone cold stun him etc. Walker defintaly is a freak though, i'm not doubting that. But he just beat Scott Carson, let's not put him in the same sentence as one of the top 3 heavyweight fighters in the entire world.
