      IMHO, placing bets based on the advice of a tout is no worse than placing bets based on the advice of someone on a forum.

          If people think that by selective picking, they can get a winning record over the long run then by definition they can't say that services of touts are a waste of money.

          If individuals believe that they can get a long term winning record then of course there's going to be someone out there who can do a better job than them. If the value of the profit attained is greater than the cost of the tout, then a good and proven tout is a good option.

            if somebodys that stupid to pay that much,even a nickel to some tout, they deserved to get screwed. if nothing else just for the lack of common sense.

              For a decent sized bettor the marginal cost of the average tout is de minimis. Sure, paying for bad picks is a waste of money, but the biggest waste of money is following bad picks.
