    Razorback redefines no class
Not sure how many of you have seen this. Game was a little more than a week ago at Ole Miss. Batter is Brian Walker, pretty fair collegiate hitter, but not as good of an actor as he thinks he is. And certainly lacking in the area of sportsmanship.

Can't blame him for trying to get on base by faking a hit-by-pitch, but his antics after that are nothing but classless. Three things to watch for:

    1) After feigning utter pain in his right elbow, he has a miraculous recovery and is able to slam down not only his helmet but his bat.

    2) Razorback trainer can't even keep a straight face when he comes out to 'examine' his injured player.

    3) Not one --- ZERO! --- of his teammates comes to his aid once he gets in the dugout and continues to throw a tantrum. Arkansas manager Dave Van Horn does put up a little beef in defense of his player, but that's about it.

this is the first time i've heard about this one willie.

i've seen players get awarded the base for pitches that weren't even that close as this was.

Walker is Awesome! I loved his reaction. I'm booking him for Entourage as we speak.

Like I said, I don't blame him for trying to get on base that way. The Hogs were trailing and needed a base runner.

My problem with his little tantrum is the ump got the call right, didn't fall for his little act, and didn't deserve to have a player go off on him like that. When an ump gets a call wrong, they derserve for players to get in their eyes like an onion. But not when they get the call right.

That was great. Even in normal motion, you can tell it didn't hit him. Wasn't even close at all. Not to mention, if it hit him hard enough to cause pain like he was acting like, the catcher wouldn't have caught the ball so clean like that or even at all for that matter.

But yeah, why argue that much? To save face with teamates or something. They have to know it didn't hit him anyway.

But if he's supposed to be such a good collegiate hitter, why does he need such a cheap tactic to get on base. His confidence must have been a little shaky.
