I met Carwood Lipton (Donnie Wahlberg's character) once playing golf in Pinehurst. It was right after Band of Brothers came out. Real nice dude. Unforgettable face. Heard he died shortly thereafter.

Hope we can learn more from the men like this before they all pass on. Once the greatest generation is gone, I fear it won't be long before we forget what true bravery is all about.
