Falcons will be in the NFC championship whether the networks like it or not. Networks don't play football.

I know how good the Falcons are. I was there back in August in training camp watching the practice every day. Falcons love it now when all the analysts in the networks are hyping the Packers. They will play without pressure and will send the Packers packing. This is a team that only scored 3 points vs Lions. Yes the Lions!!!

This is a team that had ATL on the ropes a few weeks ago in the ATL...........WITHOUT STARKS and WITHOUT JENKINS.

What ropes? Here is how the scoring went:

    Falcons 3-0
    Green Bay 3-3
    Falcons 10-3
    Green Bay 10-10
    Falcons 17-10
    Green Bay 17-17
    Falcons 20-17

How can a team who never trailed in the game and had no turnovers, not INT and no fumbles be on the ropes? Explain!!

So the Atlanta defense who caused the fumble does not get credit for this fumble but instead the Packers had the Falcons on the ropes.

Yeah, scoring 3 against the Lions really hurt the Packers today. How about, they've been in playoff mode the last 3 weeks with must wins, and are peaking at the right time. See the 2007 Giants. Atlanta is coming off a bad loss to the Saints at home that looks even worse now that the Saints are done.

It's going to be Packers vs. Bears. The league will do everything in its power to make this happen. They need a cushion for extra revenue too in case the lockout goes ahead as planned for next year. This is a business and Atlanta / Chicago; Atlanta / Seattle; or GB/Seattle just doesn't cut it.

    My 2 cents.

Halas and Lombardi......Butkus and Nitschke.......Ditka and Kramer......Urlacher and Mathews = man's football = ratings bonanza = $$$$$$$ and will happen. Bird teams not man's football = no ratings bonanza = less $$$$$$ and will not happen.
