Who cares about lebron and d-rose they suck at dunk contests. You guys just want names....

If you want dunks go to youtube and everything is 10x better than the NBA crap.

It's like the NBA has a love hate relationship with the Dunk contest. The NBA talks about canceling when a bunch of bench guys come along trying to make a name for themselves and then a Vince Carter or Blake Griffin come around and they roll out cars onto the floor and mass market it. Im surprised they don't give away like a million bucks to the winner. They must make a profit on it if all the stars play.

Another problem they have is the college dunk contest is better now. That 5'10 D3 kid whose with the Globetratters now... no NBAer will put on a better show.

Griffins car dunk = super lame

Saw someone do a between the legs right over a car dunk. 100x better, not on the side of the car...

360 between the legs super sick

540 two handed

Underneath both legs

So many dunks not in the NBA dunk contest yet. Yet everyone is drooling because some 6'10 guy does a bunch of average dunks....

Dwight's Superman dunk was one of the worst IMO. He came up short with his jump and just threw it in. Chase Budinger goes to the rim strong in games but what's he gonna do in the air for a half sec

dunk contest has been the laughing stock since 2001. atleast nate didn't make the cut this year.

As a Knicks fan, Shumpert has a lot of "spring" in his jump--he could be good

This could be some easy money. Derrick Williams is probably the strongest dunker of the group, and Chase can easily jump higher than the rest.

Only reason shumpert is so favored is because of the Lin factor.

I am ecstatic Griffin or Howard aren't in this game.

The dunk contest died when Nate Robinson won over Andre Iguodala.

Good stuff. Vince Carter and Dominique Wilkins were my 2 favorite dunkers.

I like the Blake Griffin theme over the car with the choir and music but the dunk wasn't spectacular.

Dr. J. was my favorite "in game" dunker (around the backboard vs. LA--unreal)

After last year when they had the soulless ginger jump over an unkown car it all became a sellout to me.

As a matter of fact that NBA is really becoming that recently. The Technical Fouls are out of control these days and you know exactly how that will work in the post season...

Over the front bumper/hood of the car. The most creative thing of that dunk, was Baron throwing the ball out of the sunroof.

It was just a advertising stunt with KIA and the NBA. No way they could have Blake lose, even though McGee should of won.

Already saw Lebron in a dunk contest.

He does not want to enter it because it will ruin him image. The only way he would win is on his "name" or if everyone missed.

that is pretty awful. I'll be laying some cash on Paul George as I know he will be at long shot odds wise, but should be the favorite out of that field. kid is an athletic freak. played Center for Frenso State...and played it damn well and is now the SG for Indiana.

Yes I did. Most are variations of stuff that has been done already. Lebron was doing through the leg dunks in-game in high school. Maybe not all the timing stuff, but there are others in the NBA that can do those dunks.

But why would they? Risk injury, I don't think so.

Is it me, or do some of those rims looked lowered in that video? Just might be the angles on some shots.
