I like the Mallett and the Razorbacks tonight, OSU is pretty average.

SEC top teams fair well in the bowls. South Carolina was not interested in playing in the same bowl where they just played and lost bid to BCS, plus Lattimore went out. TN got robbed. GA only team that laid an egg

Since when has that mattered, especailly in Bowls? If I am not mistaken Ohio St was favored over LSU several yrs back in the Championship game and lost..............

Love it.. you seem to speak from experience here.. You from the south? You just summed up the South in a nutshell almost like you have lived in the South.

Probably. The south's dominace in football is due in large part to the ability of football to be practiced and trained year round due to the mild climates throughout the winter. Football is also a religious experience in the South. Way too much importance is put on football in the south. In the North there are more important things like Education...where in the South if you can play football education doesn't seem to matter. Have any of you ever heard of a big time college football players becoming academically inelgible? NO, and you won't here it, EVER..

I absolutely LOVE hearing you talk about education. Please, go on. Tell us more, in your broken English of course, about how anyone born south of the Mason-Dixon is inevitably doomed to be a trailer-dwelling, mullet-toting, unemployment-receiving, Earnhardt-worshipping, (insert your favorite southern-themed compound modifier here) inbred, toothless moron. There are thousands, if not millions, like you who share in your ignorance. You northern rednecks are much worse than the ones here in the South.

Yeah guess all those southern stereotypes are all way off base? My home state Indiana is infected w/redneck duma$$es too...we're always bottom 10....I'm blaming it on Kentucky...I just don't want to see it spread!

Iowa 6 wins this decade is tops in the Big Ten. Probably not many teams with 6 bowl wins this decade...Would guess less than 10. Should be 8 wins as the 2nd Outback bowl v. Florida was a sham with terrible officiating and horrible late calls all against hawks and the refs took a TD off the board against Texas one year too that would've sealed the win.

Iowa only Big Ten team to win 3 bowl games past 3 years.

Football is also a religious experience in the South. Way too much importance is put on football in the south. In the North there are more important things like Education...where in the South if you can play football education doesn't seem to matter. Have any of you ever heard of a big time college football players becoming academically inelgible? NO, and you won't here it, EVER..
The South's advantage in football is the size and speed of the defensive lines. This is the first thing that jumps out at anyone who knows what they are looking at.

You realize we all recruit the same athletes it's just that the better ones go to Alabama, not because Ohio State didn't want them.

Last time I checked most kids stay in state and those who go out of state more times than not go to a bordering state, and no it is not mandatory to take the SAT i was accepted at several institutions outside of Arkansas with only the ACT so good try deuces
