BCLC / Proline / Sports Action thread - calling all Candians!

I have played SportsAction for close to 10 years now for pretty much everyday except when there's nothing really good on the menu or I'm just too busy (or lazy). I play mostly props but also over/under & oddset & ties. Never play toto and rarely spreads. This year so far I'm down $114.90 but the last 2 days have been positive. I'm betting offshore more often now so my bets with SportsAction are smaller than before.

Sunday was up $179.40 on a few tickets on Super Bowl props.

Yesterday I had a $60 ticket on a 2 for 4-team NBA combo for a profit of $132.50 when I hit 3 ties.

4 and 5 teamer totals can sometimes be +EV, if u get the bad totals, before they are off the board.

tonight bclc has golden state at 204.5 real line is 206 so I would bet over. hockey lines are big bargains .bclc has 5 lines at 5.5 goals. I bet under as real lines are 5 goals eg- columbus game etc.

I like the ties in the playoffs. Teams are evenly matched and you dont get burned by the goal in overtime. How many times have you been burned by a late goal in ot?

CanucksG you could have added a 2 for 4-game combo tie. At least you would have won a bit.

For the oddset.Turn the entry form over on the other side. If you like 4 games, you can bet win 3out of 4. Just check off the right box. You can bet 6 games and pick 4 out of 6 to win. Also at the bottom, check off all games to win. So now you got combos on everything.

but some of these college hoop lines are off by 1.5-2 pts is it worth putting them on a ticket now or waiting till closers?

Proline odds suck. If the line moves a couple points then you might have an advantage, but you still have to bet at least 2 games. In ontario proline is a huge ripoff, they made the odds worse for a tie in all sports.

1.7 is proline odds.. 1.95 is pinnacle odds.. gl on ur corner store parlays

Proline can cash on NBA Over Unders. The lines are off sometimes and just take ur chance with a 3 teamer pays out 3*. Just garbage odds, only thing i like is doing 2 ties for like 50 bucks pays out 1250!

for bclc game #69 has been taken off the board. It has chicago bulls-6.5 . The real odds are -9.5. I guess that is why it is off the board. Lots of games like this everyday. Got to bet them early though

Yeah for the ties in nhl it would be like 5500-1. There is a note that it would exceed their limits. Try to do it with a $5 ticket or limit it to 5 oddset ties

for bclc. oddset pays to a maximum of 5000-1. That is why you could not bet 6 ties. It is over the 5000 to 1. you probably could get it at 5 ties.

Played a few of these games myself on pinnacle but for sportsactions oddset I did

SBV at MSC tie - 2.75
SHL at RUT tie - 2.60
TLS at TEP tie - 2.50

$30 pays $536.40

I'm in the West so play with WCLC. I think our options are a bit different than the BCLC and Ontario, but the one thing we have in common is that all regions offer a HUGE chance to win.

I primarily play 'Point Spread,' and the great thing already mentioned here is that the lines don't move. It is very common to find multiple games/day where the original line and tipoff line are anywhere from 3-5 points off. So there is money to be made. You have to select a minumum of 2 games for Point Spread

Our props are just matchups, so for a 1.7ish odd, taking player A vs player B whether in NBA, MLB, NHL, NFL. You have to do parlays of 3 for prop matchups.

We also have ProLine and Over/Under, but we only have Over/Under lines for NFL/CFB, NHL, MLB. We don't have totals with NBA and college hoops.

Anyway, i always was hesitant to start a thread on any forum that was strictly for Sport Select because of how people would care/benefit from into, so good to see this thread.

Hope to contribute daily to it....
