The long layoff is kinda scaring me,but dont ever count Randy out. He will come into this fight with a good game plan. Randy is a small heavy weight that is concerning me some.Yes he faught Tim silvia who is huge but know one with the wrestling skills and the strength of Brock. Randy is the well rounded MMA fighter with the better striking and Greco Roman wrestling ( the best form of wrestling for MMA )Its going to be intresting if he can take the strength of Brock for 5 rounds. I remember Randy dominated Tito back in the day ( when Tito was good ) and Tito could not take Randy down and got worked for 5 rnds. I cant wait for this fight good to see Randy back in the UFC with a good contract.

The long layoff scares me, and Lesnar is only going to get better and better. 40+ fighters can lose it instantly, I know Captain America keeps defying the odds, but sooner or later this genetic freak is going to lose it, whether its this fight or maybe two fights down the road? Should be a great fight and im definately fired up to see it! The other betting angle is which fighter winning will most benefit Dana White and the Ferrettis. Just off the top of my head, they have a helluva record when there distgruntled stars, go up against one of their younger or more upside fighters (fighters under long contracts). Franklin over Shamrock, Florian over Huerta, Machida over Ortiz, just to name a few. Definately tread lightly before betting this fight, say all you want about Dana White, but he knows how to play all the angles and hedge his bets. Figure out which fighter winning will most benefit the UFC, and you have your bet. They wouldnt have matched up Lesner with Couture, for possible the biggest money money fight in UFC history, if they didnt think Lesnar had a huge shot to pull the upset.

I really think Lesnar has a chance. He has to be very cautious like he was fighting Herring.

I guess that chump Kongo stays on the undercards.

Couture is old balls now. He tried his shot at acting, which didn't go over very well...so now he comes back after trashing the UFC and Dana White. I am sure White wants Couture to lose and would likely place him in a match-up with someone who will not only provide an entertaining fight but who will also put Couture in his place.

Im stuck between a rock on this one... Im guessing if Randy can with stand Brocks strenght for a round or two then this fight will be his... But with Randys age its a toss up if he can wit stand that power of Brock... All in all im staying away from this at the momment and will make a last minute bet on it... Thats you're best bet in MMA...

depends on the odds, I think lesnar could win...I think if this stays stand up though and not lesnar ground and pound its Randy all the way... I don't think Randy will be able to stay off his back though...

Lesnar can jump half the octagon in .05 seconds...

Lesnar is a human weight. Once he lays on you, you can't move anywhere.

I just hope that isn't his m o. He needs to completely destroy someone's face like the UFC wants him too. Not sure if it will be Randy though.

i would have to go lesnar

couture needs to try to wear brock down and try a choke (possibly anaconda)

if brock trains for 5 rounds then couture is in trouble

sylvia cannot wrestle....brock is a very good wrestler with a lot of power so i don't see any parallel when people bring up randy beating a bigger guy in tim sylvia
