This really isn't gossip... I was talking to an Admin almost a year ago about how crazy it is here. Massive market in Australia for diehard gamblers who spend a crapload on gambling. Kind of hard not to when they're talking about live odds when watching sports on tv

A few forums have a good niche here but nothing like SBR offers. I'm sure there are other barriers to further penetrating the market that my peabrain can't fathom but JJ's actually not being completely silly this time.

Yeah it's pretty big time at this end of the world. I still always bug JJ about the massive debate him, Yisman and I got into about tennis action... actually you were in there too saying a NASCAR race took more money than a major tennis match worldwide. Now JJ knows better. It's part of the culture here... whether it's poker machines, horse racing, heading to a pub at lunch to place a bet at the TAB or just betting online while watching something on TV. Unless I move to Asia, I'll never see something like this again I'm sure.

Every week for the past seven years we get a post like this. Most come from the same group of serial pessimists. I wished I would of logged them all. Most who claimed we were doomed, going down or would be out of business are long gone ironically enough. A certain segment of the serial pessimists just hoped we would go down but I think they were smart enough to know differently. I suppose one day they will be right but so far just a lot of peeing on their foot.
