I lost 800$ in less than a week, most of which was from my first CC I just got (I'm 19.). I feel sick, I just want to stay in my room. Never felt this bad in my life.

When I was 18-19 I lost about 1100 to local bookie. Was about 1/3 of my entire stash that I had been saving since I was receiving allowance. Learned a lot though.Comment -

just calm down sir, what is down is done. its 800 dollars, which is not too terrible. however just be warned in the future, don't use credit to gamble. it never turns out good.

Lost almost 400k on a real estate deal a few years back. It sucked, but I had hit home runs on a bunch of previous deals, so I realized then that you're not going to win them all.
I actually met one of my very best clients through this failed deal, so in the end I can say that it turned out ok.
You'll win some and lose some. The key is to be able to persevere.

Never got truly buried, but I've had a few horrible runs and chase bets that never ended up well......In college like 2 years ago when i barely had a couple hundred of spare money I had to make a few payment plans with my bookie but it turned out alright when I won a poker tournament that he ran every week for like a dime in winnings
In Atlantic City I dropped like a dime in one drunken night......In fact, there were 16 of us there for one of my friend's 21st birthday for the weekend at the Borgata, and by the end of it, 14 of us were buried, 2 of us were winners LOLComment -
