    Beware of Sportbet
Heads up to anyone playing at Sportbet. Yesterday I noticed a discrepency between my available balance and my personal records. Upon reviewing my bet history from the past month, I found two max bets which were misgraded as losers. This is a suspiciously high error rate, so watch these guys closely.

Who are they? Are they the same guys SBR rated as "B+" ?

I'm seeing B- for them at the moment in the Ratings Guide.

I've used them a little bit. I never had a problem but I certainly wouldn't argue with the idea of confirming that your bets are graded properly.

There isn't a bookie out there that hasn't misgraded a bet. Usually they catch it but if it's a low-volume sport there is a chance they might not. Always check your graded plays each night or morning.

        Ricky,
Do you remember what those bets were?

          RickySteve,

Allow me to introduce myself. My name is Jake Slater and I am the General Manager of Sportbet.com. I wanted to hop in here and take the time to let you know that I personally apologize for any errors in grading that might have occurred in your account. There is no excuse for a mis-grade, other than lack of attention to detail. We are not perfect, but I do ask that my clerks and my employees strive for such.

Please also understand that when we are grading a game, we cannot grade individual tickets, but rather all the tickets on a particular game at once. Therefore, regardless of an individual client's wagers, we simply grade the game as a whole. Therefore, regardless of your bet amount, those games would have been graded as they were (then re-graded of course, once the error was realized).

I hope that you can see past this slight bump in the road, and continue to trust us with your business. Should you ever feel the need to discuss this, or any aspect of your account, further, please call me at 800-430-5896 ext. 2003.

Thank you for your time. Best of luck this week!!
