Well we all know about the SportingbetPLC, no one seems to like these books.

So I ran into this Gambling.net, which as Taco just taught me I can look to see what family this is in, the Online Management Services family. But it looks EXACTLY like a sportsbook.com type book. The way you can guest log in, and the log in and it says "Log in Successful," and everything about it. These books I would think have to be related in some way. Other Online Management Servies are BetUK and BETUSA. Any relation fellas?

      Hello NewGuy,

This is a good question that has come up before. The Sportingbet Plc Group and World Gaming Plc spin a tangled web of gaming sites. BetOnUSA for example, was licensed under World Gaming and used its software but had its own CS department, policies, accounting and lines. That Group is listed as Empire Entertainment Ltd and manages a fairly large sub-grouping of sites of its own which are all borderline F rated books.

The majority of the SBT/WG books are run off the exact same backend as Sportsbook.com and the other main brands. The lines are the same, the same CS answers the phones and the accounting is the same. There may be 50 sites that we would consider turnkeys.

BetUSA's arrangement is somewhat in between the ones mentioned above. They don't have their own accounting or wagering department or even phone CS but they do have separate decision makers and a staff that services all email inquiries. They also have unique lines and a wagering backend that they control. BetUSA's grade is held back by the fact that clients may have to deal with the lousy Sportsbook.com CS but the money is good. We've seen them honor bets and bonuses that Sportsbook.com will not.

To further complicate matters, some of SBT's sites are run out of London and are on a different platform. They use a much smarter software package called Finsoft and run things differently than they do down in CR. This is where the corporate-like-smells-like-flowers-everybody's-happy image that Nigel Payne represents comes from. The spotlight is on corporate. BetUK is run on Finsoft and like OSM, is out of London.

The parent/host is display setting is not meant to be more than a loose guide that gives a bit more info than the grade itself can. It may just refer to hosting and does not always mean there is financial backing

Thanks for the link David and those details Bill!

So there's 3 related Families now!

So let me get this straight, the Online Management Group (BetUSA and Gambling.net) have the same CS and accounting but the MANAGEMENT is different. Does this mean different OWNERS? (Not sure why there'd be different mngment unless different owners but this is confusing!)

More practically, I have a sportsbook.com account and 1 or 2 others from SportingbetPLC that I have opened with permission from them. If I wanted to open up say a Betusa.com account, is that something where I should ask permission? Or is that like asking Online Mngmnt to say open up a Pinnacle? I like to nail some soft lines at SportingBet and if another company has the same bets, then that's great. I don't want to ask if its not necessary- I'd prefer to slide under the radar. So a little guidance here would be GREEEEAT!
