This is one of the largest spreads I have seen in a while...
I like Minnesota for a backdoor cover here.

Wow, I don't know what to think with this line.... logic says take the +16. I mean, will Miami beat them by 17 or more over 50% of the time during the first week of the regular season? A win is a win and why would they try to blow them out? I see a lot of bench play so most likely I'm on the Wolves here.

MIAMI – Anthony Tolliver took “his services to the north” but it doesn’t seem like it went over so well with a former teammate whose talents are currently on South Beach.
Tuesday night the Miami Heat will attempt to stretch their win streak to four games when they host the Minnesota Timberwolves. But it will apparently not just be another mundane Tuesday game for LeBron James, who may have another name on his list to deal with.
In August, Tolliver announced he was signing a contract with the Wolves by putting a spoof of James’ infamous “Decision” show on YouTube called “The Decision…Part Deux.” When displaying a homemade sign announcing his pick, Tolliver said he was “taking his services to the north.”
“It was just me having fun, making fun of the decision,” Tolliver said after the Wolves practice on Monday. “When I did it, I had no intention to have him react.”
But James did have an icy reaction. When asked about Tolliver’s clip last week by a Minneapolis reporter who had come to Miami early for the game, James stiffened.
“I didn’t see it, but I heard about it,” James said without a hint of sarcasm. “We play Minnesota twice.”
Then James walked away.
Several months ago, James said he was making a list of people who took shots at him after his decision to sign with the Heat. It took Tolliver, who played with James on the Cavs in the preseason in 2007 when Tolliver was a rookie, by surprise that James took it so seriously.
“If he’s seen the video then he would know that it had nothing to do with him personally, it was about the situation,” said Tolliver, who signed a two-year, $4.5 million deal in Minnesota after having a breakout season with the Warriors last year.
“If he’s reacts to it either way, it doesn’t bother me,” Tolliver said. “If he’s mad, whatever…I didn’t make it for him, I made it for my family and friends. I sent the link out to my family and friends and it blew up from there.”

If you like Heat, better off taking them first half. At least you know all the starters will be playing with full effort.

Heat at -16 is a steal. Heat playing at home where they beat the Magic by 20+. Minnesota playing another away game (their last away game was a 20 point beatdown by Memphis). I know all who are saying they will bet Minnesota are lying. Their is no way you would take Minnesota in this spot.

-16 looks good to me. Heat has hella good D aswell. The under seems good too since the big 3 wont play much in the 2nd half of the blowout.

Think the over is the better play. Heat can get 100+ points, and Sota are good for perhaps 87 points.

Against that Minnesota defense, i can't see the Heat not putting a beat down on them. Obviously my only concern is Sotas offense and how many points they can post up.
