    How much $$$ do you guys keep in books?
    Reading the security thread got me thinking. Because I have long term aspirations of what i want to build up and all of that. I won't share my goals at this time, but I will say I'd liketo get to the point where I have 5 figures in 4 or 5 books.

    Knowing that this really is a crap shoot, how much do you guys keep in books? I know everyone here is high on Pannacle and acts like they would never do anything like that. But I'm always skeptical because I've bveen or seen other business that are kind of under the table so to speak and even the best can crumble over night and just take money.

    How big of concern is that for you and much do you feel comfortable having in books? Obviously, the more you have the more you can make and I think just about everyone here makes a profit from the books anyway. So just wondering. At least i think everyone at least makes a little something, right?

    How much money in books...

    I've got a couple of Franklins inside an old Bible at the house, plus a few 20's stashed away in my 2nd-printing copy of original Ball Four publication. Shh! Don't tell anyone

        Only the best for you, WB.

        Two fine choices.

        In fact, every time I see a thread title seeking to learn about "best baseball books," I want to shout:

        Ball Four, man! hands down!

        ===========
        TGO, in answer to the actual question, I like to have 100 units "in the field" (Netteller and the books). And I hate paying transaction fees, so most of the units are with the books and stay there. (I am blindly trusting that at A and A+ books the money is reasonably secure.)

        If you try to do some arbtirage or scalping, the stuff is going to shift around from book to book dramatically in ways beyond your control. I've had winning months (or even single weeks) where at one particular book I nevertheless wound up dropping from 30 units all the way to near zero, as all the arbitrage bets fell to the other side.

        To me it's important to be invested where you can get at least a couple of free withdrawals a month, so that you can balance things out.

          It depends on the sportsbooks' rating. I have no problem with big slugs in A+ books. But if you get below B+ you need to be careful. Your money IS much safer in Neteller so move it there until you need it.

                I always hit and run. Pound couple dimes on a game and pay $15 for withdraw and poof I'm done.
