Basically, you can break down parlays into smaller parlays.

For ease of example, a 3-team parlay can be broken down into the 1 3-teamer and three smaller 2-teamers. You'd have to pay 4 times your stake to play them.

    Or a 4-teamer can be 4 3-teamers, and 6 2-teamers.

Personally, I see it as a way that books prey on the "Oh, shit, I missed my parlay by one....again!" mentality. Consider that if you miss just one of those, you still lose. You win 2.6 for the one 2-teamer that wins and lose 3 for the 3 that lost for a net of -.4 units. Which, of course, seems better than losing your entire stake for missing one leg of it, but if you miss two, then nothing pays out and you're out 4 units.

        2 simple ways to...

        Round Robin:
        Parlay 3 teamer:
        TeamA
        TeamB
        TeamC

        Plus:
        3 2 teamers:
        AB
        AC
        BC
        4 total bets

Also, there is a Criss Cross, which does not include the 3 teamer. You have better odds with this one!
3 team Criss Cross: for $10/$30
AB $10 to win $26 Lose
AC $10 to win $26 Lose
BC $10 to win $26 Win
        Total Bet $30 to win $ 78
Lose Team A, but win Team B&C
        So, you win $ 26 lose $ 20 = $ 6 profit.

Stay away from the Round Robin the Criss Cross is better!
