I have found that it varies quite a bit in quality once you reach the C level. There are some great C books but also you can have some C books that may be a little less then straight with you.
(Sportsbook.com comes to mind!). My favorite book happens to be a C - BetDon.com. I also bet with Igotsports.com and they are a D. I have had no problems with them in the short time that I have been with them. In general though, stick with the A's and B's and you should have no problems.

For me, these ratings are just one factor of many. They are a useful general guideline but they can't come close to telling a complete story. I find it essential to watch the forums and ask questions and listen to players.

There are "C" books that I would use before some of the "A" books just because of my style and what I need as a player.

As for D books, you start getting into some serious risk/reward assessments. I have used a D books or two - but only if there is some really good enticement - and only after talking to players - and only with a tiny percentage of my overall bankroll - and only in full awareness that I may at some point get slow-payed and possibly even stiffed.

The key thing for me is always listening to players. Sort out which posters have agendas and listen to real players.

Let's face it, everyone has different experiences with the books. I mainly stick with the A or A+ books and don't wonder too far below that line. I've had a bad experience with Bet365 also and don't play there anymore. I play mostly at Carib. They are rated a "B" here on SBR, but I've only had a positive experience with them, It's just a matter of finding a book that treats you right, You are the customer. Carib has a "Send Memo" feature to contact them with questions, I have never had a question or issue go beyond 1 or 2 minutes before getting an answer. Hope you find a great book, they are out there. I like, Pinnacle, TheGreek, BetJM. Just my opinion and you know what they say about opinion's. Good Luck

personaly, a "B-" book is where i draw my line at. then again, when you get stiffed for $7K you too would set high standards for yourself.
