I mean can a male reporter go in the womens lockers and interview players while they get dressed or after they shower like a female reporter can in the NFL?

Not positive what the policy is for WNBA but for other female locker rooms (and possibly WNBA) there's a timeframe to allow the athletes time to shower and change before reporters are allowed in. Male reporters are allowed in some female locker rooms but not before this time has elapsed.

Seriously...would you want to go into a WNBA lockerroom? If you say yes....there's definitely something wrong with you...you've got the wrong kind of plumbing for those chicks

We need an SBRian to grab a mic and get a press pass into one of those WNBA locker rooms. Dress scantily, with chest hair puffing out and cock-bulge in the pants.
It would be all over the news.
Loshak??

From: http://www.sportsbusinessjournal.com/article/55610
"In the only major women’s league sport, the WNBA, players have a 15-minute cooling off period after a game before reporters are allowed into the locker room."
It's dated 2007. Dunno if the policy remains the same or the accuracy of this writer's comment.

Have you seen some of the straight ladies who play WNBA? They are not all lesbians.

You probably are a lower tiered or an apprentice reporter in some sports department if you cover WNBA.

Still can't believe this is seen as a fairness issue rather than common sense.

Personally, I don't think any media, male or female should be allowed into a sports team locker room. ever. That's why they have press conferences afterwards for the media to do their interviews. That's like inviting the media into my master bath while i'm showering to do an interview. Just stupid.

If you are a reporter covering snatchball, going into the locker room is likely the least of your problems

I'd be scared to go into an WNBA locker room. Probably wouldn't make it out alive.

That reporter should be dressed in a manner that is professional for a reporter. If Suzy Kolber was there, you wouldn't see her dressed like that.
