the most dominant player that played in the NFL
Jim Brown has to be the most dominant player that played in the NFL.

5.2 yards a carry over his career
    Averaged 100 yards per game
    126 touchdowns
    Never missed a game
    Only played nine seasons
Pro bowl selection every year he played

if you haven't seen him play, then i strong advise you to take the time and watch some of his footage.

Those are key stats you have quoted there.

Guys like Emmitt Smith have been able to surpass some of his career numbers by virtue of today's longer seasons and playing past their prime, but when Brown was on the gridiron, he dominated like no one else.

Emmitt Smith should not be talked about in the same
breath as Jim Brown. If Jim Brown had the Offensive
Line that Emmitt had he likely would of averaged 6.2yds
      a game.

I always get in arguments with Cowboy fans about that. I was a big Barry fan and always brought up the fact of that. Barry behind the Cowboy Offensive line would equal broken records everywhere.
