The majority of the American government is heavily corrupt, full of greedy individuals that have destroyed not only their own country's economy but most of the worlds. Unfortunately, what makes matters worse is that blind patriot Americans are too ignorant and brain washed by popular media to realize what is really going on.
USA will never be a socialist country. Most people don't even know what being a socialist country means, they're just scared of the word because corrupt republicans have told them its bad.
Med school students were gathering signatures in opposition outside of Ralphs not long ago. My signature would be worthless to them because I'm not an American citizen but I heard them out anyway. They were fear mongering telling everyone that if Obama's health care plan passes it won't be long until we're living in a socialist country. I told the guy that I think he's full of crap, Canada and Australia have a two tier health system; one public and one private similar to what Obama is proposing and they are not socialist countries.
I think the med school students were probably just afraid that they won't be able to earn as much money under a two tier system, they are the newer generation of greedy capitalist scum.Comment -

I don't agree with Tsonga very often but he is absolutely right on target about his thoughts on King Mayan. If you're torn about whether you are a democrat or a republican, just read a few of King Mayan's liberal rants and you'll know right away that you're NOT a democrat.
The democrats don't have all the answers and neither do the republicans. As it stands now, both republican and democratic politicians have one thing in common and that is only caring about themselves.
As long as neither party has all the power, I think my country will someday put its financial house back in order but any long-term solutions will have to include gutting social security and especially medicare.
I challenge any independent neutral thinking voter to visit both DailyKos.com (site filled with liberal left-wing whackos) and freerepublic.com (site filled with conservative right-wing whackos). These sites are represented by the extreme members of both parties.
