I am baffled by the reaction and celebration

1) Took 10 years for mightiest military power in history to kill a raghead. "USA! USA! USA!"

2) He is supposedly responsible for greatest disaster in US history, led to Wars that cost billions of dollars and 1000s of more lives, led ridiculous security measures in air ports and elsewhere, and all it took was 10 years to kill him and now we're going to treat this as some revenge and celebrate? I'd say he won.

3) His actual influence was undoubtedly overblown, so celebrate a shallow symbolic victory

4) Tell me what changes??? No more "War on Terror". Not a chance.

1) You're using the term raghead saying he wasn't a smart man. He had a military background and was fleeing through an area that we had experience in. It's not like he was some homeless guy that store a sandwich at the store.

2) He was murdered at 54 years old, in his own compound, while in hiding. Bush said we were going to find him (and kill him, in not so many words). We did.
